Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO) is the newest of the orienteering disciplines administered by the IOF.
The 2009 European Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships (EOC) will be held in Farum, Copenhagen, Denmark, on June 22 – 28.

Many of the forests in North Zealand were once used for hunting by the kings of Denmark and still have a vast network of roads and paths suitable for MTBO.
